What's In A Name? Public Notice

Good Morning,

Please allow me to apologize to my regular readers and those that may follow the blog.

This morning's post is a notification to those on the web and other sources that are trying to sell my business to me.

What does that mean?  It means that Yahoo and other domain sites are attempting to sell my business name and site to others, who in turn come to  me with outrageous monetary requests in the thousands.  The following is a notification to any and all entities in regards to this  issue.

This post serves as Public Notice to the following.

"The Alchemists Vessel",  name, title, entity and any other related property, intellectual, physical or otherwise, is the SOLE PROPERTY of Alixandra Browning, owner and sole proprietor.  Alixandra Browning is the only entity, person or company that has the right to sell or use the name: The Alchemists Vessel, in all its incarnations.

The Website, name and any other item of concern is NOT FOR SALE.  It belongs to me.  Yahoo, DynaDot, Hostgator, Statsite, WhoIs, DNS, Domain Tools, and any other entity, corporate or individual, has NO RIGHTS to the name, site, title or business in any form including and not limited to .com, .net, .org, .info, .biz, .us, or any other web address, physical address, item or person, whether it be to sell it or use the name for any purpose.

The Business Site, Name, Physical Business are not for sale, they belong to me, they will always belong to me.  Any one attempting to sell the name, business or other identifier is doing so without express written permission of the owner, and therefore engaged in fraud.

Be informed that any attempt to sell, use or otherwise corrupt or interrupt the site, name, business, or physical entities will be met with legal action to the fullest extent of the law.

Thank you for your time.

The Alchemists Vessel would like to wish you a pleasant day.

  2. Alix, I wish you a lot of luck with this. Remember, that this does not apply to those outside the laws of Idaho and the United States. So anyone from "China" or another foreign country can do whatever they want to with your company name. I do agree with you about the ethics of others using what is your intellectual property and taking credit for it.

  3. This is as close as I may come to a legal notice, and why it says Public, it's about as effective as a poster in a store about Shop Lifting. Because the internet has no law or rules or anything else apparently. It's The Wild Wild Web, not the world wide web...

John, this is meant as a notice to everyone outside Idaho, and in the United States, China, anywhere. It is my intellectual and personal property, it belongs to me, registered, paid for and MINE! No one has the right to use it or buy the name from someone else and try to sell it back to me, that is called a SCAM!
