At The Studio

Good Morning,

Happy New Year on and all.

The studio has been in End of Year Mode, and now that we have counted, stocked and organized we're ready to get back to the business of creating wonderful and unique items to adorn yourselves.

Here in Idaho it has been one wintry blast after another, the snow is piled high (finally starting to melt a bit) and it is cold.  Icicles of Doom hang from the roof, it is beautiful and inspirational.

We have been working on new weaves and patterns and colors to please the eye and the wearer.

Shown here in Half Persian 4-in-1 in Bright Aluminum, Dark Green and Violet, and the new weave "Hoodoo Hex", lovely sheet weave creating hexagonal shapes along the length, in Bright Aluminum and Turquoise rings.

Over the next week or two we will be listing these items in the shops and creating more in varying colors.

Today I would like share some items that are apparently trending this year.

This year Adult Coloring books are all the rage, and I own five or six.  There are all kinds of coloring books out there, and there are even instruction books on the designs called "Tangles" or "Zentangles", draw and color your own designs.

The cell phone, the personal accessory now has accessories of its own.  How about something unique for the Cell-Selfie-Text addict you know?  These adorable Ear-Phone Jacks protectors (dust guard) are available at Amazon and come in several styles.  I like the elephant.  Fun, affordable and more bling to ring about.

You would think that Candace would have to see her dentist a LOT. But no....perfect little teeth. She holds a teenie tiny plate with three, count them THREE hand molded Candy Corns. A mother can only do so much. She gets straight A's, always does her chores, is the first one dressed for church on Sunday...but she is addicted to Candy Corn. Shop News: Etsy To Remove Treasury Feature

Today's blog is very brief.  The link below will take the reader to an Etsy blog post.  Etsy has decided to remove the Treasury feature from the site.  All though current treasuries will remain up, no new treasuries will be allowed after October 5, 2016.

Changes To This Blog By Google

Good Morning,

Tuesdays are usually reserved for Five Great Gifts ides, but today I want to share some information about the changes Google will make to the blog, which are out of my control.

Note/Message Box from Google: 

"By September 29, 2016, the Search Box gadget on this blog will only present search results from this blog. Search results from pages linked in your posts, from the Web or from the Blog List and Link List gadgets will not be presented anymore.

 

We recently announced that the Google Feed API would be retired. As a result, the Slideshow gadget will no longer function, and we will remove it from your blog by September 29, 2016."

 

What does this mean for this blog?  I don't know. I do not think I have Widgets or Gadgets installed on this blog as they describe above, but I will be in the process of making sure that external links, and shared links remain accessible.

The slide show gadget no longer being available is disappointing, but there can only be so much room on a server to support such things.  So it will be missed.

Each of these earrings features a somewhat distressed, gently curved, engraved, Sterling Silver sheet rectangle,(gauge 0.35 mm.) suspended on a Gold filled arch ending with spirals, adorned with a small pearl and a garnet bead.
The earrings are suspended on Sterling Silver ear hooks.

Overall drop down of earring is around 3.9 cm. or around 1.5354331”.
Measurements of the Silver pendant is around 2.5 cm. by 1 cm. or in inches, around 0.984252" by 0.3937008”.

Love is kind of crazy with a spooky little girl like you. Inspired by the song by The Zombies, these earrings were made for a group challenge. Just in time for Halloween these are perfect for scaring up a little fun this holiday.

Approximately 2" from ear lobe. Handmade Sterling Silver hoops, head pins and ear wires are accented with genuine Jet and Amber beads. Sterling Silver Bat charms swoop through the center of the hoop. Finished with Sterling Silver ear wires (may be changed to Surgical Steel for metal sensitive ears upon request).
