The middle of the week is here, and with it brings exciting news!
Yesterday afternoon, I stopped by a local shop here in town, A-1 Video, to have a look at a building on the property.
Why would I go look at a building?
It has been an idea in my head for some time to have a location where local artists and artisans, myself included, could showcase their wares to the public. Sculptures, ceramics, leather-works, jewelry, paintings and accessories, that can purchased directly from the Artist!
The building is cozy with lots of potential to show off local artists and their work. It is bright, airy and gets great foot and street traffic. The Taco Truck out front doesn't hurt either.
I am excited.
There is a lot of work to be done before the shop will be ready to accept vendor's items and open for business. We will report on the progress occasionally, as the project continues. Secure, clean and in a nice area, on a lovely piece of property with trees and access to the main thoroughfare. What's not to like?
